A Survey on Korean Medicine Doctors’ Recognition for Developing Korean Medicine Clinical Practice Guidelines for Gastric Cancer

Objective: The purpose of this study was to provide data for the development Korean medicine (KM) clinical practice guidelines (CPG) gastric cancer (GC) by identifying awareness and knowledge needs KM doctors (KMD) through an online survey.Methods: A survey questionnaire produced referring previous recognition studies KMDs. composed questions regarding current status care GC, level clinicians about other details that use during practice. conducted from September 20 October 22, 2021. An with 195 KMDs Society Medicine Association Traditional Oncology KM.Results: total respondents participated in GC treatment. Of number, 10.3% specialize but even if they do not currently are more likely treat patients future. In terms specifics treatment, there a demand information on comprehensive treatment methods, such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, chuna, well analyzing effectiveness combined chemotherapy radiation.Conclusion: study, we were able understand KMDs’ perception level, requirements CPG. results will basic CPG GC.
